4 volumes - 4 seasons - the sculptor Francis CUNY tells us in words and pictures 40 year career.

One day the young forester wins a contest logging with a test sculpture with a chainsaw. He then leaves mat and ax for gouges .

At first , Francis will look to heart wood many characters inspired by family, friends and neighbors a warm tribute any tenderness and humor. But the Hautes- Vosges, it is also the granite : its sculpture installed Saulxures -sur- Moselotte offers one spectacular example .
A 2nd book is devoted to Joss, curvaceous favorite character and innocent mischief, son of heart and soul of the sculptor. These people pixie workshop hundreds of flowing lifestyle, poetry and freedom.
Two other volumes are reserved for monumental sculpture and strong meeting in France and abroad . Redwoods defeated by storm in late 1999 transformed into works of art between Limousin and Vosges : cows , birds, play areas and beautiful muses punctuate parks and walks .

Snow and ice finally drive away the artist and " frosted " ephemeral around the world : from Valloire ( Savoie) to Harbin (China), from Alaska to Finland not far from the North Magnetic Pole where an iceberg in 1988 welcomes the giant logo of the brand Gerland . Works fleeting , warm and lasting friendships , transparency and whiteness virginal wear off the reputation of the Vosges artist.
